A survey that is prepared to a set of minimum standards adopted by ALTA/ACSM.  Drawing includes improvements, easements, rights-of-way, and other elements impacting ownership.

Used for long corridors such as pipe line routes, roads, embankments, railways, electricity lines, river beds, etc.

Used to create an additional tract of land from one original parcel.  This new tract can be used for only strictly agricultural uses.  No buildings requiring sewer or water may be constructed.
